David Malison

David Malison is a Ph.D student at the University of Chicago’s Economics Department, and has been a research assistant for the Center for the Economics of Human Development since 2014. He currently holds bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Biochemistry and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Georgia.

His current research focuses on the causes and consequences of risky behavior among adolescents. He is also interested in the economics of education, in particular the effect of scholarship programs on inequality and college attainment. When not working, David enjoys playing board games, watching basketball, and cooking.
